We are Iain and Gillian Thompson and we live with our two children, Kelly and Lee in Oldham near Manchester in the United Kingdom.

We decided to create the Silver Creek Villas website soon after buying our own vacation rental villa back in December 2004. Shortly after we had started to rent out our own villa we realised that our community of Silver Creek was not very well known and so decided to do somthing about it.

Silver Creek is a community of only 108 vacation rental villas that are set in a lovely rural location, but still only a short drive from the Disney theme parks. We are so close that you can see the fireworks at Disneys Magic Kingdom over the tree tops.

The Silver Creek Villas website first went online in September 2005 with the intention of only promoting the vacation rental homes on the Silver Creek community. We put a lot of work into the site but found that our fellow owners were very slow in joining in the venture. Due to this lack of interest from our fellow owners we decided to open up the site to all the vacation rental communities in the Disney area of Orlando Florida. This proved to be the turning point and within only a few short weeks we had over 150 vacation rental homes listed.

We hope that both our villa advertisers and our website visitors, who we hope are looking for a vacation rental home for their Florida vacation, find the site easy to use and full of the information required.
