Davenport Lakes is a lovely base for your Florida vacation. With Disney World less than a 10 mile drive* all the major attractions are easily accessible. However, you are on a quiet community so it is easy to relax on your days off from the parks.

Situated adjacent to Highway 27 you are close to the 192 and the I-4 so getting to your chosen destination should never be a problem and you actually have a choice of routes to get to Disney World, Seaworld and Universal Studios. Both coasts are easy to get to, as are Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens and Kennedy . It is even possible to view a shuttle launch from your front door.

As you would expect from the name, this community has a large lake which is a 5 minute walk from ‘tigger-woods’. Next to the lake is a picnic area with BBQs, and a small dock from where you can view the wildlife.

The community has a pool which is available to all residents, as is the adjacent tennis court and small play area.

Obtaining provisions is not a problem whilst staying on the community. There are no less than 3 supermarkets within a 2 mile drive and a little closer is a deli and a convenience store. You can also find here a bank, gas station, hairdressers, bar, cafe and liquor store. Very nearby are several restaurants including a pizza take-away and if you drive the one-third of a mile to the 192 you will find more restaurants than you could ever use in a month. A short way down the 192 is an internet cafe for those who need to check their e-mails.

A few minutes away Polo Park has two golf courses, where you can hire equipment should you wish. Some of the fairways play through the villas on the local communities.

The community runs events from time to time for the residents and the “Dive In Movie” on the 17 foot screen by the community pool is always popular. Should you like to know more about this community why not visit their website - www.davenportlakes.com

*this was clocked from Davenport Lakes to MGM - you may see more optimistic estimates of the distance advertised by villa owners.
